The story concerns a sister (Bo Derek) and brother (Peter Hooten), who return home after years abroad. Falling under the island’s erotic spell, the girl and boy discover that their love goes beyond filial. The incestuous nature of the story evaporates when it is discovered that the two aren’t actually related after all.<\/p>\n

Fantasies<\/b><\/i>\u00a0is a\u00a01981<\/a>\u00a0R-rated<\/a>\u00a0English language<\/a>\u00a0drama film<\/a>\u00a0produced in\u00a0Germany<\/a>. Directed by\u00a0John Derek<\/a>, the film starred his wife\u00a0Kathleen Collins<\/a>\u00a0(really Mary Cathleen Collins; later known as\u00a0Bo Derek<\/a>). Co-stars included Peter Hooten, Anna Alexiadi, Faidon Georgitsis, Nikos Pashalidis, and Kostas Baladimas.[1]<\/a><\/sup><\/p>\n

Fantasies<\/i>\u00a0was filmed and produced on an extremely\u00a0low budget<\/a>\u00a0in\u00a0Greece<\/a>\u00a0in 1973. Filming lasted just over ten days. The film was not released until 1981, two years after\u00a0Bo Derek<\/a>\u00a0had already become a movie\u00a0fantasy girl<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0international star<\/a>\u00a0after her breakthrough performance in the comedy\u00a010<\/a><\/i>\u00a0(1979).<\/p>\n

Director Derek and the underage Collins began a romantic affair during filming and were married soon after her seventeenth birthday not too long after filming was completed.
